Kodak Digital Camera


Kodak was one of the first producers of cameras and was founded in 1888 by a man called George Eastman. Since that time, the Eastman Kodak Company has led the way with an abundance of new products and processes to make photography simpler, more useful and more enjoyable He made a cumbersome and complicated process easy to use and accessible to nearly everyone. Today Kodak digital cameras are once again leading the way.
 


Most people think of Kodak as primarily makers of films but they are now fast becoming obsolete as digital cameras have now overtaken conventional cameras in the market. Kodak has been quick to venture into the world of digital cameras and is now one of the leaders in the digital camera field.

One camera that uses EasyShare software to organize and manage photo collections is Kodak’s Z712 IS. This digital camera takes lovely digital photographs the way you want. It has an effective resolution of 7.1 MP that enables you to capture brilliant images for up to 30" x 40" prints. It is a good competent extended zoom camera with a long 12x zoom and a 7 megapixel sensor great for long range digital photography and crisp images. Some of the features include Optical Image Stabilization, Auto and manual exposure, Autofocus. The EasyShare Z712 IS has 32 MB internal memory and a SD/MMC card expansion slot that help you start shooting right from the off and capable of holding almost 10 best-quality photos. It is recommended to purchase additional memory cards and a 1 GB Secure Digital card is capable of storing about 292 photos.

The Kodak z712 IS also has a 2.5-inch vari-angle LCD display, Movie mode with sound, PEG file format, and uses Lithium-ion batteries.

For a more compact camera that does not have an exorbitant price but still has great capabilities is Kodak’s EasyShare M863. Kodak EasyShare M863 strikes a balance between picture quality and portability and has a 3x optical zoom/5x digital zoom and 8.1 megapixels. It has a large 2.7-inch LCD display makes reviewing your photos easy, and it uses a JPEG file format. It also includes VGA Movie mode with sound which allows you to make your own home movies. Other features include a large range of ISO options allow for a striking degree of customization as well as built-in Auto focus. It also comes with a Lithium-ion battery and a 16 MB internal Secure Digital memory storage. It weighs only 0.25 pounds and is an altogether all-round quality camera.
