The Smallest Digital Camera

Technology has changed our lives in many ways. The way we communicate with each other has been changed dramatically by the cellular phone now there is virtually no place or circumstance in which we cannot be reached. When it comes to preserving our memories and the way we capture those precious moments technology has again made huge changes. Today almost everyone has a digital camera and they are getting more compact all the time. Now on the market is the smallest digital camera, known better as the ultra compact. These little cameras can be slipped into the front pocket of most jeans so you are always ready to capture that Kodak moment. What is the best small digital camera today and what are the features?

The smallest digital camera on the market today is the SiPix Style Cam Blink digital camera. Weighing in at a feather light 1.4 ounces it is safe to say this is the smallest digital camera available. Below you will find a complete breakdown on the specs for this camera.

Size- 0.6 x 2 x 2 inches
Weight- 1.4 ounces
Mega pixels- 0.3 this camera captures images up to 640 x 480 pixels
Memory- 8 MB memory can save up to 400 photos
Battery- 1 AAA battery required
Connectivity- USB connection
Software- ArcSoft's PhotoFantasy, PhotoImpression, PhotoMontage and VideoImpression, in addition Inetcam's iVista and SiPix AVI Maker

As you can see the camera has little in the way of resolution at 0.3 mega pixels, the size of quality pictures is going to be very small. However, for web cam uses or capturing pictures for websites and such users agree that this tiny camera is just the ticket. Overall, for size and price users were very happy with the smallest digital camera. This tiny camera would also be a good starter camera for the young person on the go.

Nevertheless, if you are looking to take professional or printable pictures you may want to look to a larger variety that has zoom capability as well as more available mega pixels. The smallest digital camera may not be adequate for your photographic needs.

Don't take another digital picture until you read this book! Someone has finally gotten into the "secret files" of top photographers and is sharing the information for the first time ever!
